Prayer July 2010
Thank you for faithfully committing to pray for Freedom House (FH) and her residents. It’s exciting to be a part of God’s ministries and we're glad that you have chosen to stand with us in prayer. We are confident that with your prayers and His faithfulness, many will experience His freedom from a world of bondage. Please join with us in lifting up the following prayer requests.
In You, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness. Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me. –Ps 31:1-2
Pray for those who will become FH’s future residents. Pray that they will sense God’s comfort and peace even in their current situations. Pray that they will know He sees each tear they cry and He will answer.
Pray that FH will prove to be a refuge for our future residents. Pray for community and peace within the house and among the residents as they come from different backgrounds and circumstances. Pray that the future residents will feel safe, cared for and loved in FH. Pray that FH will be able to meet their needs.
Pray for God’s protection over FH and her future residents. Pray that He orchestrates safe passages for future residents to FH and that His hand would be over them in their coming and going from the House. Pray that He will guard against any who would choose to do harm to the residents or the shelter. Pray that He will keep the residents and the physical building from any danger.
